For more years than he would probably care to remember, Richard has been an intergal part of the volunteering team on Race Day. His organisation of the start zone volunteers is hugely appreciated by all of our runners, and is recognised by his clubmates, who've nominated him for this award.

Receiving the most nominations from her fellow runners is Vicky Simmons (centre). Vicky has been called an "inspiration" by her clubmates and at the 2022 Unleashed Performance Reading Half Marathon, she broke the two hour barrier finishing in 1:59:40!

The support we get from our local clubs is second to none, but this year, Reading Roadrunners turned the streets of Reading green with an impressive 102 entires!

It's a celebration of the amazing running clubs in the Reading area and beyond, who already play a big part in our race. By recognising and rewarding your clubs, both big and small, this is our way of saying thank you to the club organisers, run leaders and runners who are out there week after week, making sure that the running community is second to none.

What can we win?

So...

How does it work?

Simply enter the race here and add your affiliated club on your entry and we'll do the rest.

You and your club will automatically be entered into the Club Challenge. Whether your club has 10 runners or 100 runners entered, they will be counted so make sure your club friends join you. After the race we will ask for nominations for the categories which are voted for by you.

Prizes are awarded in the following categories:

* Most paid for entries, booked via the race website before entries close.
* Fastest team (of 4) - Female.
* Faster team (of 4) - Male.
* MIR - Most Improved Runner (nominated by your friends and club runners).
* VIP - Volunteer Inspiring Person (nominated by your friends and club runners).
