RACE VILLAGE

Located at the Reading Football Club Stadium, the Race Village is close to the start line in Green Park and right next to the finish line within the magnificent Stadium. Athletes come to drop off their baggage in the morning, soak up the atmosphere before and after the race, meet friends and grab a bite to eat and drink. Here's an example of what you'll find on Race Day.

Baggage tent

Runners are able to leave their baggage within the Kit Tent prior to the race beginning. It will be clearly signed. Please expect to queue to drop/collect your baggage during peak times.

catering

There will be a number of catering units serving a selection of tasty food for all dietary requirements. Hot & cold drinks also available.

Charity Partners

Our Charity Partners will be in the Race Village on event day. Why not stop by to find out more about these great causes.

Help Desk

The Help Desk is staffed by members of the Goldline Events team with a little help from our friends at Reading Borough Council, to deal with any issues. There will be some spare race bibs if your four legged friend eat yours or it didn't arrive. It is also the place to go if you have lost something or someone. If you have any issues or questions just stop by and we will be glad to help.

Massage

Our partners Therapists on the High Street will be available to help with everything from pre-race body MOT to a relaxing post-race massage. Stop by to help relieve those weary legs. The services provided by Therapists on the High Street are free but they may request a charitable donation.

Medical

Medical services will be located near the finish line and in the Race Village. If at any point you need help please make yourself known.

meeting point

There is a handy meeting point in the centre of our Race Village, identified by some triangular fencing around a lamp post! Use this as a focal point to meet your friends and family.

merchandise

For official Reading Half Marathon merchandise come and see us in the heart of the Race Village. Products include the official race T-shirts, hoodies, snoods, bib clips and more!

toilets

There will be plenty of toilets to help with those last minute nerves and they will be clearly sign posted.

VIP/Corporate Challenge runners

If you're a VIP runner (or their guest), or a Corporate Challenge runner, please head to the Conference Centre entrance (next to the Reading Football Club Mega Store) where you will be directed to your hospitality area.
