The Green Park Challenge
Incorporating the Schools Challenge

The Green Park Challenge is a fun run which is estimated to be just under 3km and is open to all the family. From serious athletes wanting a shorter race, to complete beginners wanting to have fun, get fit and raise money for charity all at the same time. The start time is 8:30am. ChampionChip timing will be used for all competitors, so everyone will get their position and race time.

Adults and children can take part in the Green Park Challenge. Children must be at least 4 years of age. If they are under the age of 11 they must be accompanied by a participating adult; both child and adult have to enter the race.
The Green Park Schools Challenge
Every child of school age between 4 and 17 is automatically entered into the Green Park Schools Challenge competition when the relevant school is added to the Green Park Challenge entry form.
Prizes are awarded based on the top three performing children from an individual school in these age categories, U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and finally U17. There are both male and female categories and the top three children from the top three performing schools will all be awarded at a special presentation evening a few weeks post the main event in March. Winning Schools and Students will be invited to an awards evening that will take place approximately 6-8 weeks after the event. Details of the evening will be sent out when they are confirmed.
Please note all competition results are by chip time, not gun time.

Participants are not permitted to use any of the above or similar in the event and those attempting to do so will be prohibited from starting and may be forcibly removed from the course mid-race where necessary. Likewise, anyone attempting to start or join the race in any outfit that we, in our absolute discretion, deem unsuitable and/or dangerous to other competitors or spectators, will not be allowed to start the event or, if on the course, may be forcibly removed from the event.
